    Bower Builders Incorporated was founded in 1988 by Master Carpenter Michael Bower and has been in the forefront of quality building ever since. With over 21 years in the building business and 30 years of carpentry experience homeowners can rest assured that their job will be completed with pride by a qualified and experienced craftsman. Always intrigued by the carpentry field Michael enthusiastically underwent a four year Carpentry apprenticeship which included four years of schooling in construction theory & practical applications as well as on the job training. Michael graduated in 1987 and was Certified by the State of Connecticut & Carpenters Local 210. Upon graduation Michael was promoted to foreman and lead carpenter for singer Cyndi Lauper's home renovation. In early 1988 Michael was approached by the State of Connecticut and Carpenters Local 210 and hired to teach first and second year carpenter apprentices. Later that year Michael ventured on his own into the building business and four years ago his son Mike joined the business full time and will soon be working towards his green building certification.

Michael takes pride in his work and expects and receives the same level of pride and quality from the sub contractors who work with him. Many of the sub contractors have worked with Michael for ten years or more which helps to maintain a level of quality and continuity on every project.
